In 2014, Cindy Murphy Kelley began working on a vision to create 72 homes for homeless veterans in the Savannah-Chatham area. This multi-phase endeavor would 5 years later become the Tiny House project. Through a chance encounter Joe Marchese met Mrs. Kelley and since then has been leading the charge along with many others to help bring the project to life. As of July 1st, 2019, Phase 1 of the project was completed and the first 12 veterans were moved in. Phase 2 is underway along with a clubhouse for meetings and town hall events. Future phases are in the works to complete the 72 home vision. We are proud to be apart of this project and help our local heroes acquire the homes they deserve.
